This Privacy Notice (the "Notice") describes the practices of Bridgewise (together with its affiliates, successors and assigns, "Bridgewise", the "Company", "we", "us" or "our") with respect to the collection, use, disclosure, transfer, retention and other processing of Personal Information (as defined below) obtained through bridgewise.capital and any associated web properties, landing pages, forms, subdomains and digital services operated by the Company (collectively, the "Services"). This Notice applies solely to information processed by the Company in connection with the Services and does not apply to information collected offline, through any channel other than the Services, or by any third party, including any Capital Partner (as defined below), whose processing activities are governed by such third party's own privacy practices. The Company operates as an intermediary and referral platform; it is not a lender, does not extend credit, does not make credit or underwriting determinations, and does not originate, issue, service or purchase any financial product.
By accessing or using the Services, or by submitting information through any form made available via the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Notice.
"Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household. In the preceding twelve (12) months, the Company has collected or may collect the following categories of Personal Information:
The Company does not knowingly solicit or collect through the Services any government-issued identification number, taxpayer identification number, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, biometric information, or any category of information designated as "sensitive personal information" under applicable law, and does not initiate a consumer report enquiry or credit enquiry as part of any eligibility assessment conducted through the Services.
The Company obtains Personal Information: (a) directly from you, where you voluntarily submit it; (b) automatically from your device and browser through cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, server logs and comparable technologies; and (c) from advertising platforms, measurement providers, hosting providers and other service providers acting on the Company's behalf.
The Company processes Personal Information for one or more of the following business and commercial purposes: to receive, evaluate, validate and administer enquiries submitted through the Services; to effect introductions to, and to facilitate communications with, one or more independent third-party capital providers, funding sources, brokers, syndicates and other counterparties participating in the Company's referral network (each, a "Capital Partner"); to respond to enquiries and communicate with you by telephone, electronic mail, short message service or other means; to operate, maintain, secure, audit, debug and improve the Services; to measure, attribute and optimise marketing and advertising activity; to detect, investigate and prevent fraudulent, unauthorised, unlawful or abusive activity; to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process and governmental request.
The Company may disclose each of the categories of Personal Information described in Section 2 to the following categories of recipients: (a) Capital Partners, for the purpose of evaluating and responding to your enquiry and contacting you directly, each of which acts as an independent controller of such information and processes it in accordance with its own privacy practices, over which the Company exercises no control and for which the Company accepts no responsibility; (b) service providers and processors engaged by the Company, including hosting, infrastructure, communications, electronic mail delivery, analytics and professional services providers; (c) advertising and measurement platforms, in connection with the activities described in Section 6; (d) governmental, regulatory, judicial or law enforcement authorities where the Company determines in good faith that disclosure is necessary or appropriate; and (e) any acquirer, successor or assignee in connection with any merger, acquisition, reorganisation, financing, sale of assets, bankruptcy or comparable transaction.
The Company does not sell Personal Information in exchange for monetary consideration. Certain disclosures described in this Notice may nonetheless constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of Personal Information as those terms are broadly defined under certain state privacy statutes. Where such statutes apply, you may exercise the rights described in Section 9.
The Services use cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags and comparable technologies, including technologies operated by third-party advertising and measurement platforms, to record interactions with the Services, to attribute conversions to advertising campaigns, and to enable the measurement and optimisation of advertising delivery. Such technologies may be used to construct audiences and to deliver interest-based advertising. You may be able to limit certain of these activities through your browser settings, your device settings, the privacy or advertising preference controls made available by the relevant platform, or the industry opt-out mechanisms offered by the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative. The Company does not respond to browser-based "Do Not Track" signals, as no uniform industry standard for such signals has been adopted.
The Company retains Personal Information for such period as is necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in Section 4, including for the duration of any active enquiry and thereafter for such additional period as the Company determines is reasonably necessary to satisfy record-keeping, audit, dispute resolution, contractual, tax, accounting, regulatory and legal obligations, after which such information is deleted, de-identified or aggregated in accordance with the Company's retention practices as they may be amended from time to time.
By submitting your telephone number and electronic mail address through the Services, you expressly consent to receive communications from the Company and from one or more Capital Partners at the number and address provided, concerning your enquiry and related funding matters, including communications transmitted by means of an automatic telephone dialing system, an artificial or prerecorded voice, or short message service, notwithstanding that such number may appear on any federal, state or internal do-not-call registry. Such consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency may vary and message and data rates may apply. You may revoke this consent at any time by instructing the calling party to cease contact or by transmitting a written request to the address specified in Section 11.
Subject to and to the extent required by applicable law, you may have the right to request: confirmation of whether the Company processes Personal Information concerning you; access to, or a copy of, such information; correction of inaccurate information; deletion of such information; disclosure of the categories of information collected, the sources thereof, the purposes of processing and the categories of recipients; and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of Personal Information or of targeted advertising. You may also be entitled not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any such right. Requests may be submitted to privacy@bridgewise.capital. The Company will respond within the period prescribed by applicable law and may require information sufficient to verify your identity and, where a request is submitted by an authorised agent, evidence of that agent's authority. Where a right is exercised in respect of information already disclosed to a Capital Partner, you may be required to direct your request to that party.
The Company maintains administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, including transmission over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and the Company does not warrant, guarantee or represent that Personal Information will remain secure in all circumstances. The Services may contain links to properties operated by third parties; the Company does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices of such parties. The Company may amend this Notice at any time and in its sole discretion; any amendment becomes effective upon posting of the revised Notice, and your continued use of the Services following such posting constitutes acceptance of the Notice as amended.
